Front Entry Closet Organization | Rochester, MN
The Challenge
This patio home has no basement, which meant the front entry closet needed to function as the primary storage area for cleaning supplies and household essentials. With limited square footage and wire shelving, items had gradually accumulated and floor space was becoming crowded. The closet felt tight and inefficient, making it harder to access everyday cleaning tools.
The Approach
We fully edited the contents, removing excess and consolidating like items. Cleaning tools were reassigned intentionally, vertical space was maximized, and frequently used supplies were made easily accessible. Coordinating bins were added to the top shelf to contain smaller items and improve visual simplicity. We simplified hanging storage and ensured the floor area remained open for easy movement and vacuum access.
The Result
The closet now functions as an efficient, streamlined cleaning supply hub. Every item has a defined home, floor space is clear, and daily tasks require less effort. What was once visually cluttered now feels calm, practical, and easy to maintain — a smart storage solution for a home without extra basement space.
