Closets are often the first and last spaces we see each day — and when clutter builds up, it can set the tone for the whole home.
For this project, Simply reDO Decluttering & Organizing focused on two adjoining spaces: the mudroom closet and foyer closet. Each had become packed with bulky coats, seasonal shoes, and miscellaneous storage items, making it difficult to find what was needed and keep things orderly.
We started by editing down items, grouping by category, and reassigning shelf space for seasonal rotation. In the mudroom closet, we introduced a simple shoe rack and optimized upper shelving for boots and cleaning supplies. The foyer closet was transformed into a streamlined coat zone with intentional space for everyday outerwear and footwear.
The result? Two closets that now function beautifully, look cohesive, and make daily routines easier from the moment you walk through the door.
