The Challenge

These adjoining mudroom and foyer closets had become overloaded with coats, seasonal shoes, and miscellaneous storage. Limited structure and crowded shelves made it difficult to find what was needed or maintain order day to day.

The Approach

We edited down excess items, grouped outerwear and footwear by category, and redefined each closet’s purpose. In the mudroom closet, shelving was optimized and a simple shoe system was added to support everyday use. The foyer closet was streamlined into a clean, intentional coat zone with clear space for daily essentials.

The Result

Both closets now feel cohesive, functional, and easy to maintain. With defined zones and simplified storage, these high-traffic spaces support smoother routines from the moment you walk in the door.
