Whole-Home Editing, Kitchen & Closet Organization | Wabasha, MN
The Challenge
After selling their Arizona home and returning to Minnesota full time, this homeowner found herself with more than she wanted — despite already being exceptionally organized. The home wasn’t cluttered. It wasn’t chaotic. But in her words, there was still “too much.” She wanted clarity. She wanted space. And most importantly, she wanted the push to let go.
The Approach
Rather than reorganizing disorder, this project focused on elevated editing. We worked side by side to thoughtfully evaluate belongings across the kitchen and master walk-in closet — refining categories, reducing excess, and strengthening systems that were already in place. Drawers and cupboards were streamlined. Closets were further pared down. Donation piles grew quickly. By the end of our sessions, the back of the SUV was completely filled with items headed for donation — with additional items prepared for local drop-off. The goal wasn’t dramatic visual transformation. It was intentional reduction.
The Result
The systems feel lighter. The drawers feel intentional. The closets feel fabulous. This project is proof that organization isn’t always about fixing chaos — sometimes it’s about having the confidence to go further.
The homeowner shared: “After selling our home in Arizona and returning to Minnesota full time, we had way too much stuff. Simply reDO helped us pare down, sort, donate, and prepare items to sell. I’ve opened drawers and cupboards just to admire the order — and the closets? Fabulous!”
Important Note About Photos: Because the visual differences between before and after were minimal — and some before photos were not captured — this portfolio reflects the finished systems and edited spaces.
